At the heart of STUDIOWERKSTATT 31 is the textile art workshop. It offers space for creativity, mindfulness and experimentation. Together with others, we give ourselves the time and freedom to find our own creative and artistic handwriting. The individual artistic process, shaped by traditional craft techniques from around the world and the quality of each material, is the focus of our attention. We meet to work on our projects, allow thinking through making, and share experiences.
Quilting Bees, workshops and workshop talks are taking place regularly.
STUDIOWERKSTATT 31 is inspired by British artist and fashion designer Felicity Brown.
The Textile Art Workshop is suitable for everyone who likes to work creatively with textile materials and wants to make something with their hands, is open to experimentation and finds recycling and exchange essential. Everyone is welcome. No previous experience is necessary.
